Albanians are friendly and welcoming. A warm handshake or nod is a common greeting. Dress modestly when visiting churches, mosques, or rural villages. It’s polite to accept coffee or raki (local spirit) when offered—it’s a sign of hospitality. Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory (5–10% is customary in restaurants).
