Markets and shopping areas offer spices, textiles, jewelry, and souvenirs. Bargaining is expected in markets but not in malls. Shops are usually open 9 am–6 pm, with shorter hours on Fridays and closed on Saturdays (Sabbath), except in tourist areas.
